Batumi International Airport Reaches Historic Milestone

For the first time in its history, Batumi International Airport has surpassed 1 million passengers in a single year. According to forecasts from TAV Georgia, the figure is expected to reach 1.2 million by the end of 2025.

Results for the first nine months of 2025:
• Passenger traffic growth: +32% compared to 2024
• +90% compared to pre-pandemic levels
• August saw a historic record: 213,000 passengers in a single month

The increasing tourist flow continues to strengthen Batumi’s position as a year-round leisure and investment destination on the Black Sea.

This dynamic is not a short-term spike, but a long-term trend that is driving demand for quality housing, short-term rentals, and new investment-focused developments.
